The Hamster Dance

Grandma & Grandpa K sent Adelina a musical Hallmark card entitled the Hamster dance.

Thought we'd share the joy...it's great the first time you hear it. Not so great the 50,000th time.

No Cavities Here!

One of Adelina's favorite activities is brushing her teeth.

The

day simply cannot begin or end without spending at least five minutes drooling, chewing and shoving that brush all over her face (and occasionally in her mouth).

First Brewer Game of 2008!

Adelina, Joel and I went to the Brewers game on Saturday.

They played the SF Giants (no more Barry Bonds to heckle) and won 5-4. We saw Braun and Kepler hit their first HRs of the year.

Aunt CC to the Rescue!

Happy Hump Day! Today Adelina spent the day saying "Buh-bye" to everyone within shouting distance and the remainder of the day pointing to the robins in our backyard, "Buh-dee." She is also using the sign for "more" all the time (I think she believes it means food or juice) and saying "moh."

Aunt Christi came over to the house this afternoon and made scrambled eggs for dinner (the first time she's actually eaten eggs). Then they took a walk outside to look at all the buh-dees and splashed around in the bathtub with the ducka-ducka-duckas. They finished the day with a rousing verse of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" after which my own little buh-dee fell fast asleep.
