First Day At Day Care

Yesterday was Adelina's first full day at day care and it was a GREAT day! Luckily, mom was more anxious than child. She was the only toddler in her group so she had the teacher all to herself. Tina reported that they took her lunch and went on a walk to the park. It's only about 4 blocks away, but she said the walk lasted 4 hours since Adelina stopped for every dandelion ("flow'r) and bug (all bugs are either "ant" or "fly"). I arrived at 4:30 to pick her up and she waved, "Hi" and kept right on trucking past me! All through dinner she told me about "Tina" and "walk." Thank goodness she likes it! :)

Momma and Papa had a date for the first time in FOR-EV-ER. They went on a bus tour with the Hubreds to Miller Brewing Company and to see the Brewers play the Astros (W 5-2).

JJ's Last Chance

While one Kottwitz sister is traveling the world, the other Kottwitz sister is about to embark on a different type of journey. One of the stops on her way down the aisle is a bachelorette party to Miller Park where she'll be singin' and dancin' and just might watch part of the game.



I wonder what the boys will be up to while the girls are gone...

Back to School

As you may already know, Adelina has had the extreme pleasure of spending the summer under Auntie Jenna's tutelage. Her days are filled with vintage toys, begging for cookies and cake (which, by the by, are the two words she can pronounce with absolute clarity), singing Heigh Ho with Snow White and the Dwarfs, swimming, and vacuuming. Yes, Adelina loves the vacuum. At first she was terrified and would run screaming in the other direction, but now she has conquered her fears and will boldly walk up to it to flick the switch. In fact, it's a matter of pride!

Here's a little sample of what she learned:
