I was playing around on iTunes when Adelina asked me to buy the pudding song. "What's the pudding song?" I ask. "You know, mama: if you don't eat your meat, how can you have any pudding? how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?" How can I say no to a 4-year-old who loves Pink Floyd?

Happy Thought of the Day

Adelina and I attend open swim at the community pool a couple of times a week. It is usually just us, the lifeguard and a handful of old folks (the locker room is always interesting..."Mama, what's that???").

Anyway, her latest accomplishment is a full-barrelled cannonball that splashes me and the sweet old ladies doing the water aerobics in the shallow end.

And for some reason, she feels the need to shout, "CANNONBALL" at the top of her lungs every single time.
