Tuesday, March 25, 2008 was a big day in the Schmitt Haus. The little Schmitt Tot took her much-awaited first steps!!! As you can see, we tried to tell Uncle Snoop the news over the xbox, but we didn't have any luck. I tried to capture her solo steps on film, but did not succeed. Instead, we had fun pushing our toy and attacking the cats.
We also enjoyed dinner at the 1855 Saloon in Cottage Grove with Barb Swenson. Adelina and I shared the wood fired pizza and sweet potato fries. Every waitress in the restaurant had to visit our table because Adelina was waving and blowing kisses like a mad-woman.
Papa we miss you very much and hope you're having fun in the Great North Woods. Adelina asks for you every day. We're looking forward to seeing you on Friday!
